On the wedding night do the bride and groom's guests normally stay in the hotel that the wedding took place at????

Even if the guests are staying there would the bride and groom want to stay there too?


Or in a different hotel to their guests?
In this scenario they're not going on honeymoon straight away.
What usually happens?

    There is no “usually.” It’s completely up to you. I’ve seen it both ways, even when, as is common in our circles, there is a day after brunch for out of towners.

    We got married at a hotel and most of our guests either stayed at the hotel we got married at or drove home. Only a few got Airbnbs instead of staying at the hotel.

    We went home, lol.
    I would stay at the hotel the wedding is at. Having no travel would be so much easier.
