Old, New, Borrowed, Blue - Do or Ditch?

Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue... trust me - you'll be asked more than once if you're doing this tradition!! Are you honoring this tradition and rounding up your four good luck charms? Are you doing or ditching this tradition? Photo by Rebecca Carpenter...

I'm doing this because it sounded fun and FMIL passed down earrings to me. I'm still working on my something borrowed.

I plan on doing this because I think it's a fun tradition. My dress and jewelry are new and my shoes are blue. Don't have my something old or borrowed yet though.

I won't do it purposefully but if it happens to work out then fine. I don't think it's necessary by any means

Ditching completely. This barely even crossed my mind.

Doing this, just for the fun of it. I have an antique blue brooch I will use somewhere!

    Totally did it.

Something old: my grandmother's pearl necklace

    Something new: dress/shoes/veil

Something borrowed: my stepmother's pearl earrings

Something blue: Ravenclaw diadem comb in my veil, reception shoes (also Ravenclaw), and underwear JIC

I think it's a fun tradition, and I might be the teeniest bit superstitious, so ... why not?

I have something blue and something new. My mom is insisting that she finds me something old and something borrowed. I like the idea of doing everything for the sake of tradition, but it's not a huge deal to me either.
