Hi Melissa. I’m planning my friends Bach party for September and we are doing a cubs game as well. Please share any recommendations(brunch places, hotels, bars etc.) thanks in advance
My wedding is in October of 2020.. but we are planning my bachelorette weekend in Nashville, TN for mid June. So it will be a couple of months before .. but I personally didn’t want it too close to the wedding because I want to make sure I’m enjoying myself and or stressing out about last minute things!!
Of course! We hit Hutch for brunch, and then moved to Old Crow to pregame. After the game we did Murphy's Bleachers, Casey Moran's, Rizzo's, HVAC and Cubby Bear. We didn't need hotels, so I'm not help in that area (we're all local and the CTA was our savior lol) but the brand new Hotel Zachary is open, so that would be the obvious choice! Otherwise, any hotel downtown is just a short train ride away.
I had two parties. In February, me and some of my bridesmaids spent the weekend in Orlando with a day at Disney's Epcot. We got to sample drinks from around the world. In March, I had an extended bachelorette party for me, my bridesmaids and my friends that was locally held at my parents' house with drinks, food, a craft and a selfie photo booth setup in the hallway. The next day was the bridal shower, so the timing was perfect.
Our wedding is October 5th and bachelor/ette party is planned for the weekend of August 10th! I have tons of weddings in September so that worked better. My bridal shower is July 14th. During certain times of year, the earlier the better!
