October wedding, when is your bachelorette party?

I’m getting married next October and we’re planning to have our joint Bach weekend the end of next August. Some of our friends and family work for schools/universities so it’s easier for them to travel in the summer, plus I’ll want some time to get my diet back on track for the wedding. We live in San Diego and our friends and fam are all east coast. Since we’re going there for our wedding, we’re having them come here for the weekend. We’ll rent a house somewhere on the ocean in SoCal, do yoga/paddle boarding/surfing, wineries, beach, and pool time.

My wedding is 10/18/19. My bachelorette party is on 10/4/19. We are being simple. We are getting an air b n b near downtown Chicago. Catering food and drinks. Then play some games. My girls are in charge of everything else so if it’s any other surprises (knowing them it will be lol) I don’t know. I didn’t want to come out too much for it.

If it's an out-of-state bachelorette, I recommend a few weeks before the wedding -- maybe even a month. If it's in-state then a week is when I'd schedule it. Being away from home-base so close to the wedding might not be a great idea if any last minute errands need to be run.

Wedding is Oct 13, and the “Nashlorette” party weekend (going to Nashville, lol) is August 23-25!

I'm getting married Oct. 24th, 2020. We have a lot going on and it'll be a lot to ask people to travel so we are doing ours the night before. After the rehearsal dinner. Just hanging out watching movies, facials... pampering ourselves, maybe some funny bridal party games.

Where:

Because we are getting married on family land my girls and I will be staying on the property and my fiancé and the boys will be staying at a hotel together. In Burleson TX.

Our wedding is on October 5th and my bachelorette party is on Sept. 13-14 in Vegas.

Our wedding was 10/27/18 and our bach parties were the night before. We were in Vegas so it just was the perfect way to do it and the ceremony wasn't until 4:30 without a bunch of pre wedding stuff to do so we had plenty of time to sleep in and recoup.

My wedding is 10-10-20. My sisters and one of my bridesmaids is already planning my bach party. They are keeping everything a secret right now. They want it to be a surprise.

We're doing 9/21, works best for work schedules & leaves us with time to do things in October that needs done. We're starting at dinner at a Greek restaurant & then driving to the beach to check into a hotel where we'll bar/club hop for the night!

Didn't have one. It fell through.

Mine was the night before. We had our wedding in Vegas so it just worked out to have our parties the night before. The ceremony wasn't until 4:30 so we had plenty of time to sleep in since it was a small wedding and all inclusive so all we had to do was get ourselves ready and arrive.

Same here, mines is two days before since most of the wedding party lives out of state.

Mine was Labor Day weekend...we went to Cabos, Mexico

Bachelorette party is 2 days before my wedding on October 22nd.

Hi & Congratulations!! My bachelorette party sponsored by myself because my bridal party are OUR college children? I am taking us (4 of them) +me) to New Orleans for the Essence Festival (July 2-6). Plus about 6 other female friends. Looking forward to sharing that bonding experience with them.

Where are you guys planning on going?

I got married the first weekend of October and had my bachelorette party in August - it's a good timeframe where it's not too early and not too late!
