    Hello!

Our date is October 17,2020! Wedding planning for me has been pretty stress free! Being a planner in the industry I decided to hire a planner and literally the BEST decision I've made thus far. We have pretty much solidified all of our vendors minus 2. We have our venue picked out, florist hired. photographers hired, etc. Just waiting for proposals from some DJ's and Lighting Designers! Our next step is to send out Save the Dates in January! We have been engaged for 1 year now and I'm really glad we took the time to enjoy the process and not rush into a big expensive wedding.

    Hi!

Our wedding date is October 3, 2020.We will have been engaged for 19 1/2 months when we get married.
So far, I've accomplished a lot! Ceremony and reception venues have been booked! Centerpieces are made (I made paper flowers out of maps for our travel theme), dress was picked/bought/came in, bridal party has been chosen, color scheme (burgundy, navy, and gold accents), we have a rough idea of our menu options, transportation has been booked, engagement pictures done, almost have the guest list decided upon, and save the dates and invites have been bought (cyber Monday sale for the win).
Up next: finalizing who all we want to invite, mailing save the dates the first week of February, and doing a menu tasting. It's mostly down to the smaller details!

    Emily: Hi date twin!!!!Smiley ring

It's going good so far, we got engaged July 10th this year. 10 more months to go to the day! Venue is booked and it includes catering, alcohol, cake, centerpieces and ceremony site. Dress is purchased and I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival. Bridesmaids have their options and color. DJ is booked and I'm adding early songs to the form. I can always change them later if a new song comes along. Photographer is booked and we just got our engagement photos are back. I'm halfway through collecting addresses for Save The Dates, guess they'll go out in January? Our hotel block is set and I have the suite for nights we need it. I'm dragging my butt on MUA and flowers. I just can't decide if I want to spend all the $$$ on flowers since it's just bouquets really. We're using the venues very beautiful centerpieces. Oh crap, transportation lol.

I feel like the best advice is to go crazy with planning ... but only when you want to! Right after I got engaged I loved the crazy planning phase I went through. I enjoyed doing all the research. But lately I don't really want to do anything, so I'm letting myself take a break. School just finished, and my fiance and I are just enjoying the downtime a little.
