Hey there! October 4 in Pennsylvania - no plans to reschedule again. We decided if (worst case scenario) the cdc guidelines state we can only have a gathering of let’s say 50 people, then we will just decrease our guest list. We were supposed to be married next weekend but rescheduled for October in hopes that everything will calm down by then...

Our wedding was scheduled for 10.10.2020. We decided to postpone until October 2021. There is just so much uncertainty with what the fall will bring and what the restrictions will be. We also want to make sure our guests are able to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about social distancing. We were stressing a lot the days up to making the decision but we are both happy and feel that we made the right choice.

Same date and I'm with you. I have hope that our micro wedding will still be happening! I'm not cancelling until my venue says I have to. Our backup plan is to marry then and reschedule the party.

My stepbrother and his fiancée were October 24 2020 too but they’ve rebooked for October 2021 (NC). They’re disappointed but felt it was best. I’m disappointed too because I was looking forward to it but it’ll get here eventually.

We're October 23, 2020. Holding out for now and hoping for the best. We have a plan B if we really need to cancel, but as of right now we're sticking to our original plans.

We were November 2020. We have postponed to Fall 2021. I just didn’t want to compromise my “dream wedding” and the experience all my guests would have. Plus, Fall 2021 was already filling up with some of our vendors, so I didn’t want to risk not being able to get a date in 2021!

I’m 10/10. Our venue is being very reasonable and giving us til August to cancel/postpone. We’re holding out until July to decide to cancel or not. We plan on getting married that day anyway and don’t want to postpone the reception. Having a small reception doesn’t seem doable bc cutting down the guest list would be too difficult. Our plan B is just a small private ceremony with immediate family. Being in Jersey we are leaning toward that more and completely content with that. I hope you both come to a happy agreement on which decision to make!

We decided to postpone our 10/10 wedding tonight. I've been stressing about it, cranky and depressed. He got sick of hearing about it. So we postponed. We've been arguing a lot how best to proceed, I wanted to move forward slowly while still making small purchases and decisions, he thought it was best to not do anything and wait it out. I didn't think we had enough time left to be able to do nothing for the unforeseeable future. The only "agreement" was postpone. I'm sad, mad, defeated and all the emotions in between. 😞😢

I hope October does work out for everyone else... I think if things show a different progression in the next month or so we may reevaluate our choice.

10.10.20. We are waiting until July to postpone. We’re having a backyard wedding and everything is already booked- perhaps if I didn’t have things already booked and purchased and still needed to do that during this time I would postpone. I see many states opening slowly. I’m in CA and beaches are starting to open. I’ve been feeling more hopeful the last couple of days and I think it might be because I haven’t been on here reading stories to freak myself out.

We're getting legally married on 10/2 as long as we can get our license.

Whether that will be an immediate family only microwedding, or a smaller "full blown" wedding with planner and DJ, we don't know yet. We are waiting till end of June to make a final decision.

I'm getting married 10/10/20 too! I am very hopeful as well and still sticking to my plans. Before the virus I was planning on having an intimate ceremony anyways and inviting about 40 guests. I live in CA too and I think some of the restrictions will be lifted by the fall. But in case our venue closes, I do have a plan B and will get married in my FH parent's backyard instead. I just really don't want to postpone cause this date is special to us and we've been together for 10 years and don't want to wait any longer!

October 23rd here. We are holding off and hoping for the best.
We are already made a plan that if we need to cut the list to say 50 then we will do that eventhough it really sucks.
If our venue cancels on us then we will probably just postpone for next year.We really just dont want to postpone. Just want to have our wedding and start our lives together

We are still planning as normal for our 10/10 wedding. We actually just had a virtual meeting with our venue on Monday so keeping our fingers crossed we can get married in October in Philadelphia.

Still going forward. We live in the Northeast so we are in the unfortunate position of being subject to travel restrictions, but we are hopeful those will be lifted soon. We are getting married in the South, which has been leading the charge on reopening so we are hopeful we'll be able to have the event with all (150 or so).

If not, we will postpone. It would suck, but what can you do, and more time to plan and be engaged!
