You need to also look into an officiant, photography, and booze (if not included with your caterer).

Seems like you've gotten a lot done is a short amount of time

I'm starting to freak out and I've had a year and a half to plan, so good luck! I also suggest using the checklist, it will help you make sure you're not forgetting something. I'm not sure where you are located but you might want to start looking into getting your marriage license if you haven't already.

We are having a caterer who is taking care of all bartending and alcohol needs.

The checklist is uber helpful! In addition to that, we bought a whiteboard and wrote down everything that still needs to be done.

As PPs have said, start looking into marriage licenses because the big day will be here before we know it!

We are getting married in an old town house that has been converted into a ballroom. The room is so large we are having the ceremony and reception in one place, with about 80 people. I am excited to get everything finalized, especially the guest list!

Me.. when do I get my 5th star?

Im an Oct 1st bride as well. Been planning since we got engaged on Christmas day. All the big stuff is done (venue, photographer, dress, rings, dj), mailing out invites tomorrow, still finishing up some diy stuff (flower girl baskets, chair bows, etc) so all thats left after that is food we are making for reception. Im getting excited!!

Also an Oct 1st. bride! Everything is complete. Just paying the rest of the vendors and finishing up decorating and DIY things.

I'm one week after you and still feel like I've got a ton to do! Lol. You go girl!
