Have you thought about what your ceremony might look like or how many guests you would be hoping to invite?

I live out on Long Island on the north shore and I totally understand wanting to keep it under 6k. Look into different parks and rec centers and try to keep it small. The women I work with were telling me their wedding stories. One of them did an afternoon wedding outside with 50 people and afterwards for a reception they went to a little bar and just hung out and spent time with each other. There are so many options for keeping in budget, you just have to get a little creative.

We’re getting married at Sea Cliff Manor in Nassau - we’re having 60 people and went with a premium package but their first package starts at 100 a person. Very reasonably priced and includes a lot of food and open bar.
