NWR: Ex's coming out of the woodwork

I haven't had exes, but I have had random people from school, both hs and college, tell me about how they always had crushes on me and how lucky FH is.

It seems my daughters father always come out when we are happily living our life lol He isn't in her life at all and hasn't been in a lonnng time. I always say he can sense the happiness.

No thank God! One reason I don't have Fb.

My FH got a call from one of his exes trying to get back together on the day of his first wedding. I told him I am completely expecting him to get a call on our wedding day - you know, tradition :-)

Mine, unfortunately, never went away lol.

Not yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if some do right before or after the wedding.

This one isn't even friends with me on FB, but he follows my IG. He told me how awesome I was and gave me some bs about how he wasn't ready to drag anyone down a financial burden with him and blah blah blah. Ummm... OK? He wanted to apologize to me, but I found it totally unnecessary. Then he tried to keep talking about how he's going back to school and what did I have for dinner? This is what I made... I just ignored him. We're not friends buddy.

I luckily have not had any exes come out of the woodwork since being engaged. I've had a few over the course of our relationship as well as people I've known for a long time confessing their love and how they wished they had a chance. I tell FH and he is so chill about it. He's like "oh really? too bad for him." I would be fummmmming. Like "where is she!? I'm gonna show her a thing or two!"

No, they haven't even been blips on our radars in years.

I didn't really have anything like that. I had the guy that I dated briefly before DH text me and ask if I was only marrying him for money because DH isn't as good looking as him. Ummm no. I replied and asked him how his wife was. He was separated (told me divorced) and I found out he had never filed. They just no longer lived together. Ew.

I was really surprised I didn't have any. There was one I was sure would give me a drunken call.

Ugg yes. Ran into one that I thought when I was younger that I would end up with forever. I stopped all contact with him when I started dating my husband. 3 years later I run into him in a bakery when I was visiting my hometown. He tried contacting me after that so weird and awkward.

My ex just completely blocked me from everything as soon as he found out I was engaged.

I had one inbox me and say "I don't know if I told you this before but congrats, and I want nothing but the best for you"

Hasn't happened yet, but I'm expecting my 2nd husband to come out of the wood work. He always does. And, like the worm he is, I keep stomping him back in...

Not yet, but I'm on a lookout since FH is inviting his ex's cousin-one of his best friends, to the wedding. Hope all goes smoothly since she was trying to get back with him when she found out we were together.

Only one my ex husband....when FH & I got engaged he called & told us congrats & that he is happy I found someone who treats me right & wished he had treated me better (his mistake) :/ Oh well still on good terms with him for our son

No, not yet anyway. There is only one ex who I think would even attempt it. He used to say that if/when I got married he would show up, to stop it (and he was serious). Thankfully we live in different provinces now (practically on opposite sides of the country) and I haven't had any contact with him at all in the last 4 years. Hopefully it stays that way.

Yes Girl! I had one ex on Sunday FB message me after 3.5 years (he wanted to marry me lol) I told my FH and he was like "It's just the devil working you", but screenshoot it and send it to me LMAO!
