NWR: changing your sheets

I wash all sheets in the house about every two weeks. But my set actually gets washed at least once a month since my potty training toddler sleeps in my bed more than his own bed.

We have multiple sets, so I change them once a week. Then at the end of the month I devote a weekend to washing all the sets at once. Every time we have sex is just crazy though. First of all...I have four sheet sets. Not twenty. And secondly, do you know how hard it is to change sheets on a kali. king waterbed? Just lifting up the corner is like a billion pounds! (That's right. A billion.)

EDIT: Cali. King. California doesn't have a K in it. WTF is wrong with me?

Oye. We change ours about once a week..but twice on weekends. We play sand volleyball friday and sunday and APPARENTLY my husband has no idea how to shower and get the sand off himself. So sat morning sheets changed and monday morning.

OK this is def. a gross topic and all of the OCD or germaphobe ppl are freaking out right now which is totally fine, i get it, LOL ... i'm freaking out a little too...ewww. We probably wash ours every other week (2x a month). We never have sex (maybe..every other month if i'm lucky?) so thats NOT an issue. But when we do, we use towels on the bed anyway because, HELLOOO... after waiting so long, we're both springin' a leak! LOL sorry TMI

Every other weekend... i do bathrooms every weekend and sheets every other weekend... floors alternate around the sheets every other weekend (by floors I mean mopping I sweep daily)

We live in a small one bedroom apartment too, and I think my closet is now full of sheets. They just never go back to that box size, ever again. lol

So I try to change our sheets about twice a month. This last week, I had to change it after a week because the sheets were itching me. And they were 500 count too. I think I have very sensitive skin. I now use the perfume free detergents. But I think with those new sheets we got, one wash is not enough, I need to wash it a couple more times so they don't itch me for some odd reason.

We change ours once a month....more if one of the dogs sneaks up on the bed; ill rip the sheets off and change them immediately (cuz i shkeeve having the dogs walk where i put my clean face after my shower)...we both shower at night... and sex, well i guess we have it down to an art in some respects...lol....and dont leave anything "extra" behind...sry tmi

Now I can't stop thinking about all the news about bed bug outbreaks I keep hearing about.

Married 23+ years. But I still change them 2 - 3 times a week regardless what is happening in them. I just like fresh sheets. Yeah, it's a lot of laundry (90% done by me anyway) but I just like fresh sheets.

I cannot imagine changing sheets every time after sex. Crazy. I change the sheets once a week. It is a weekend ritual that I do. I would love to change the sheets more often because I love the smell of fresh sheets, but between law school and work, I do not have time to change my sheets more than once a week.

Gosh, how long does it really take to change a set of sheets? Like 7 minutes?

I change them once a week sometimes once every two weeks. I def don't have time to change them after sex! F all that!

It isn't the time it takes to actually change the sheets, it is the time it takes to do the laundry. We have a few (4 I think) sets of sheets, but really, EVERY time? Even if there is no "mess" left behind?

They are changed once a week, if there are wet spots, we will change the sheet that is wet ASAP (so it doesn't seep into the feather top).

We have 3 sets of sheets that we use. The ones we got for our wedding are only used if for some reason every other set is dirty because they kinda suck and they're cheap. So, we change our sheets once every 3ish weeks. Just depends on when they need changed.

I change the sheets every Sunday. More if we forget to use a towel. Which usually doesn't happen to often.

We probably do about once a week. We're CSI nuts so we always say 'we have to wash the DNA off the bed' lol!

No specific time, sometimes every week, every other week or 3 weeks.

So, does that mean we should change our furniture everytime we have sex? I don't think I can afford that.

We change 2 - 3 times a week.. not every time we have sex though! Wash the comforter once a week too. Our towels go in the laundry after every bathing

There is no way any recently married couple has enough sheets to change them every time they've had sex. You'd have to have a million sets of sheets and your water bill would be through the roof. Just insane.
