NWR: Anyone know discount codes for Enterprise-Rent-a-Car?

Team Dean, on May 18, 2015 at 11:14 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 12

Hey all,

I'm renting a car from May 28-30th as I am flying back home to do my wedding dress fitting and have my bachelorette party! My family/friends all live about 2 hours from the airport, and I want to be able to putt around town without inconveniencing anyone, so I am trying to rent a car.

It is SO expensive if you are under 25! I've already tried googling discount codes and all the ones I found were either expired, or people's corporate accounts that require passwords and what not.

So! Does anyone know discount codes for Enterprise? Or awesome website links that can help me out?

*Extra Info*

I am renting in Canada

I only need the car from Thursday to Saturday as my BMs are taking care of my transportation for the party

Best price I found was $140, and I waited to try to find discounts and now it's gone up to $225 (wtf!)

Check retailmenot.com. They have coupon codes for everything. Also try codes even if they don't apply bc they sometimes still work.

AAA offers discounts here. Not sure about Canada. I was a member of BJs warehouse which also gave discounts. Most warehouses do, Costco, SAMs club etc.

Try Google. Like MrsC said, Costco and Sams have great discounts....we rented a Charger for a week last year in Florida and it was about $150 for the week. Granted, we are also not under 25 years old...

Yeah, the under 25 thing is what is hurting you. Which is a pretty arbitrary rule, but, is what it is. Even if you find a code you will probably still need to pay a hefty deposit (that's how it usually is in the US at least).

    Try other rental companies?

Around here Enterprise is usually more expensive than anyone else. I use them when I need a pick up truck since they are the only ones who keep them. If you have a Budget or Avis, they are usually priced better. Dollar rental is supposed to be good, but I have never used them.

Yeah, it's only that much because of your age. I don't know if you can really get that down.

@ CrystalS, it's so weird that enterprise is more expensive in the states... up here it is cheaper by a long shot, and the reason why I chose it is that it is one of the few that will actually rent to under 25!

To everyone else, thanks for your ideas, I will look back into them, and update if I have some luck!
