We decided to do an "us gift" to eachother and have extravegant date night.

He's getting the new call of duty game and a couple other little things that I've gathered up throughout the year But his main gift is Call of Duty.

I bought a deal for Boudoir pics and never used them. So I'm getting him an album of the Boudoir pics I take in December. With all the wedding expenses we decided to not really get each other anything this year

@Cydney - my FFIL got Call of Duty for FH and it arrived yesterday. Let's just say I won't be seeing much of him this weekend

My son bought the Call of Duty game last week and has been playing it since lol We normally don't buy eachother much for Christmas because we have the kids to worry about. All I have wanted for years was my ring lol So I will be happy this year..... new ring and husband I think I am going to look for a chain for him to wear his ring on when he is at work. Right now he is wearing it on his finger but sometimes has to wrap it in electrical tape depending on what he is doing. A gift certificate for a massage is always good too. I want to do a boudoir shoot but thought I would wait until next summer and maybe that as a anniversary gift.

What does your husband do Lisa? My FH won't be able to wear his ring because he is an electrician Maybe we should get him a ring made out of plastic lol

I havent decided yet, it will depend on what I can afford at the time, work has cut my hours from 40 down to 20 and soon to be down to 10... its like not even part time really... Looking for another job, but I am guessing we might just have a late gift to each other, we are looking at a house that is perfect for us and really really cheap! Once we get our credit good enough to get the loan we are gonna get it! otherwise, maybe we will just do some black friday shopping and call it early christmas =)

I'm gonna get us a customized ornament for our first Christmas..haven't decided what else yet really, we are flying home so that is gonna be expensive so we've talked about basically just using that as our gifts.

No idea ... money is kinda tight ... so we may just opt to not get each other anything or do an "us" gift as well ... Now that I'm married, there isn't anything I really want for Christmas ...

I thought this was an interesting post so I asked my FH; he said "I don't know, whatever's on his list.. why would that change anything?" So I guess, some guys still want their own present (movies, videogames... I like your chair idea) and may not like the "us" gift, unless money is an issue and you've discussed the gift situation (you don't want to disappoint).

My Fh, wants like 4 games, we wan't the new nook Tablet! But I want to get him something, even though to us our wedding is our gift!

We have decided to get our own presents.. I got my laptop and not sure what he is getting himself.. but i do need stalking stuffer ideas.. I got him Call of Duty and SkyRim for our ann. in Nov.

We're expecting so the Christmas budget has gotten alot tighter. He realllly wants a new tatoo so I think my gift to him will be ink.

He got me a sewing machine. Brand new Singer, its amazing, and he got it at an estate sale for $60! Thats my babe! haha

And yes, he already gave it to me. He's really bad like that, can't hold out.

We are getting married on christmas eve. so my present to him is me lol ; ) i got him a really cute shirt for our dineyworld honeymoon. plus we are buying a house, so that's part of our gifts.

Not married yet but i don't think my ideas for gifts will change at all. It is still him and he is not going to change what he likes once we get married. I am getting him some Miami Dolphin Track Pants.

Lol @ Krista - of course they're not changing after marriage. Somtimes, though, budgets change and sometimes once you're together for a long time, it gets harder thinking of new things to get them!

My parents have been married 23 years now and they don't buy each other gifts anymore. They spread the love to their kids. =]
