Hey Ericka! Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!!

Did you and your SO choose your wedding date for a special reason, or did it just fit into your timeline?

What is the weather in Florida like during the winter? Does it mean that you are having an indoor wedding?

Have you made any exciting wedding planning decisions yet, like your venue or wedding theme?

Hello!!! We didn’t choose it for a special reason. Mostly we wanted a fall wedding that wasn’t on someone’s birthday but not too close to major holidays. The weather on average at that time is still in the 80’s and it’s at the very end of hurricane season. Less likely to have to worry about a hurricane spoiling our day. So for our wedding we will be having it on my future in-laws property in Cocoa. We already have our florist, photographer, tent rentals with tables and chairs, our DJ and our officiant. Our theme is autumn with little subtle pops of Disney. How about your self?

Our cake topper is the chairs from the movie UP. im debating on using a mail box as our card holder and do the whole hand print thing from the movie. im going to see if my florist will add little mickey mouse picks to the flowers. little things like that.

Hi fellow November 7, 2020 wedding couple! We have the venue, photographer, and my dress booked. The venue is all inclusive. Our wedding will be just outside of Tampa at a rustic barn venue. We are also adding subtle Disney touches Smiley smile

Thank you! Congratulations to you as well! My Disney touches so far are Mickey and Minnie Mouse head wreathes, I want to put flower picks in the bouquets. My guest book will be Up themed. That as far as I have thought. I know I want the cake topper to be something Disney themed also just not sure what.

That’s awesome!! I made my flower picks for my florist. Also we did the mailbox from the movie up as our card box. And the chairs for the movie up are our cake topper. I have more little things that I’m going to add as I go.

Thankfully my flowers are included with my venue so I just have to find the picks I want and give them to my planner Smiley smile I thought about doing the mailbox too for cards but I think I’ve decided on something non Disney instead. I’m trying to be very subtle in my Disney items that way it doesn’t scream Disney. Even though most of our families know we’re big Disney fans!

I made my flower picks because buying them already done was more expensive. I made over 120 of them to go into my flowers for the same price as the ones already made.
