Non Traditional Flower Girl Dress

My FG is almost 2 and I didnt want her in white because I knew that she might get something on the dress. So I went with a latte colored dress and the color complimented my champagne colored dress perfectly.

Ashley S. I completely agree. I spent to long on sites and so glad my BM and FG will have their dresses ordered no later than NEXT weekend! I'm excited!

Kimberly M, I want that dress!! I finally found one at Sears for our FG. It's black with white polka dots and pink trim (perfect!) It's just a normal sundress, so I'm hoping she can get more than one wear out of it.

Isn't it great?! I was so excited when we found it. The BM's will be in dark blue dresses. I got it at Marshalls, but found a very similar one at Nordstrom Rack the other day. It was the same polka dot style, but the fabric was different.

My FG's will be wearing balck dresses & red shoes just like the BM's And we are putting red roses in their hair

HI- All these are SO cute!!! Seriously just do what you want its not a huge deal!!! If you want orange make it the orange dress you LOVE. Why do people feel the need to follow all traditions? You can do whatever you would like

My FG, my neice, was two at the time of our wedding. She wore a dress that was the same color as the BM dresses. I was the only one in white. Our colors were Apple Red, Black, and white for our picnic theme. I think if FG had been in white it would have blended too mych with my dress. Especially since she kept walking up to us during the ceremony LOL

I think wearing a lighter version of complementing version of your BM dresses is just fine.

My flower girl is in a wisteria dress ( purple) My JRBM is also in this color.

I dont think mine is "traditional" but i still think it is elegant.

Everyone thank you for all your help. My MOH and I were able to decide on a dress that we love and now I'm really ready for the wedding where my FG can wear her dress.

My girls picked their own out at target... they also did wand's not flowers. You can do anything you want and any dress or outfit you would like for the flower girls to wear. I don't like to follow tradition, its not me at all. I really only had flower girls becuase they decided they were doing it themselves : )
