Needing encouragement

So long story short , I had no one to go try on dresses , my family is 16 hours away , his family is eight hours away . In a city , I don’t know anyone and we have kids and he works 6 days a week . He got a Sunday out with the kids so I got an hour to myself to try on a dress . My sister was going to fly down at the end of July to help but our wedding is early October and I’m kind of running out of time . My sister now hadn’t even asked for a picture of the dress I chose and my mom said yes it’s ok . I thought I picked the perfect dress .... I had a second , fancier dress (both off the rack ) but it would have needed more alterations , was more expensive and I didn’t feel it suited our rustic barn /outdoor venue as much . Included a picture of my I said yes to the dress moment (by myself ) and the stock dress . My dress of course needs altered but anyone want to offer up some encouragement here ? Dress ok for the venue ? Look ok ? I’m not having bridesmaids , just our children in the wedding party so I haven’t been able to ask anyone else either (some close friends back home and they are supportive but now I’m second guessing ) 🙁
