Need pics of amber uplighting

Dena, on December 15, 2016 at 10:37 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Does anyone have pictures of amber uplighting at their wedding? I want something extremely neutral, and the DJ insists this is the color to go with. When I image search it on google, it looks orange to me (which is what it sounds like it should look like). Any advice will help!

Amber gives a candlelight type of glow to the room. It's very pretty and probably the most popular color choice since it is super neutral.

My mind automatically goes to a yellow/orange hue when I hear "amber" uplighting and I didn't even google it. I would hardly call it neutral.

From what I saw on google images it looks like candle lighting in some venues and just straight orange in others. I think it would really depend on your venue.

We had amber shown as an example from our vendor since we wanted neutral, and it gave the room a very romantic and neutral look! It was beautiful to see. I haven't looked on Google, but it is definitely that candlelight effect

I think more of a brown rather than orange when I hear amber so it could be neutral. It will ultimately depend on the equipment being used though. Quality is everything

Check out rentmywedding.com and look at the uplifting options. Towards the bottom of the page they have a bunch of different colors options.

We are doing amber. It was highly recommended by the decor company we hired. This is our venue with amber uplighting.

Is it possible to change your colors during the course of the evening?? Def worth asking your company. That's something we were able to do and it was an awesome way to change up atmosphere and timing of the evening (one color for cocktail hour, one for entrance, one for dinner/toasts/cake etc)

For what it's worth, amber was recommended to us to at least use during dinner because it's universally flattering on skin tones and gave the room a soft glow. Or something along those lines Smiley winking

Thanks guys! A candlelight kind of glow is what I'm going for. Here's the arbor that will be behind us during the ceremony and the during the reception at the sweetheart table. I just don't want an orange look!
