Need opinions:rehearsal dinner invites!

Lauren, on January 6, 2020 at 10:23 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
So we are doing a very informal "rehearsal dinner" with pizza, finger sandwiches, wine, soda, other munchies. So I don't really want to call it a rehearsal dinner. But I want everyone invited to have an invitation or I feel like they will forget about it. Please give me opinions on the overall look and wording (address and phone numbers messed up on purpose and will of course appear normally on invites). Also, is it weird to have the added part on the bottom addressed to just the bridal party? These will also be addressed to their guests who are invited to the "dinner" and a couple other close relatives like grandparents. I want to use it as a reminder for the rehearsal for the party, but I also don't want the others to think they need to come to the actual rehearsal. Thanks for all opinions and suggestions!!Need opinions:rehearsal dinner invites! 1

We included all the out-of-town guests for daughter & SIL's rehearsal. We called it a Welcome Dinner and included the dinner invitation as a separate card in the wedding invitations for all those invited (not all guests). (RSVPs for the wedding were on their Knot website, which allowed for separate RSVPs for both events -- it was super easy to track who was coming.) Daughter & SIL just let the wedding party know about the details for the rehearsal via text or whatever. I think what you have works for your purposes, but I'd take out the "a" before pizza and munchies. You could also just refer to it as an informal dinner.

EDT: Also, I'm not a fan of the two different fonts for the large lettering (Mr & Mrs and practice makes perfect).

And yes I agree with your last comment! The practice makes perfect was a preset image, but I'm going to try to change that so they match!

Not weird at all giving the specific instructions for Bridal party at the bottom. During this exciting time people get caught up in all the plans with you, and maybe show up where they aren't necessarily needed! Be as specific as you need to girly! Do whatever you need to make sure things go right!
