Need opinions!

So I picked up my wedding dress the other day and I still feel like I’m not in love with the bottom. I think I’m going to take out some tulle in hopes to make the bottom a little less dramatic. It’s a lot of fabric and I feel like it’s still too poofy. Will taking out some layers ruin the shape of the dress/make it look weird? Need opinions! 1

I personally love the bottom. But I think if you took it out it would be more straight for sure, I would talk to them to see if you could even do that

I love this dress exactly as it is. I think it would look less elegant and formal if the bottom was less dramatic

Thank you! I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be hard for them to remove some layers. I think i would like it more if it were straighter, but am having a hard time envisioning it. I also don’t wanna ruin the dress, but I feel like it’s too dramatic for me

I love the bottom too. But if it’s too much you can take out some tulle.

I think it’s gorgeous as is! But if you decide to make it less poofy, i don’t think it would look bad!

Thank you! Idk I just feel like it’s so poofy that it kinda looks bulky. It’s a part of the dress that I didn’t like even in the sample dress, but I kinda got caught in the moment and purchased it. Now seeing it again, I like it, I just feel like the bottom looks massive. I like a fit and flare look, but this is a lot of flare. So I’m thinking about taking out a lot of the underwire and tulle

I worked in bridal for three years, it's a very common and easy alteration. From the pictures, it looks like there are three to four layers of crinoline, we typically recommended leaving at least one for structure, but that should would make it more fit and flare and less mermaid
    hope that helps!

Thanks so much! Yeah, I think that’s what I want! To make it a little less dramatic mermaid and just have it with a little flare. Thank you for your input!

Weird but useful tip- when your dress comes in, you can test what it would look like by pinching the crinoline in between your legs under the skirt- it's weird, but it really works!

This is exactly what I did with my dress - and it helped make my decision to take out a level really clear!! 👏💖
