Need opinions

A lot of people would rather spend money traveling, but we’re going to take our honeymoon within the next year and spend our money on our wedding since it’ll be a great time with our family and friends who we rarely see

When I talk to anyone they say spend the money on the honeymoon! 😁

If we had more time to be off of work we would definitely travel for weeks for our honeymoon, but because we are both workaholics we can't so that's why we are doing a DW instead.

I did sort of both at a reasonable scale. I had a small wedding meaning 45 guest so cut cost by having a small guest list and I had a destination wedding. I had the honeymoon at the same location of the wedding just a different city that was driving distance so new place for us but cut the cost of travel. I personally love traveling but is something I can do any day or any time. A wedding is one in a lifetime event.

I'd go with saving the money on a small wedding aha. I had a big one and in hindsight I wish it was small.

Small wedding with a big honeymoon. My parents and fiance's parents all did that and say they wouldnt change it. Our guest list is at 207 and we are thinking of cutting back even more. I want a longer Honeymoon

Small wedding and a nice honeymoon! We're having a small wedding, 20 people, and going on a nice honeymoon to Cabo. I can't wait!

We are having a small wedding...40 ppl max is what I'm going for and the reception is at a restaurant. We like to travel so our honeymoon is more important to us.
