I suggest diamond or pearl studs, or smaller dangling earrings. These would not compete or take away from your pretty straps and bodice detailing. If you miss black, you can choose black nailpolish which would look neutral and sophisticated compared to brighter colors.

I think Pearl still works great. Instead of a choker, you might look for a y-chain or lavalier style necklace, not too long. You want something delicate to flow with the dress instead of something chunky that distracts from it.

If the dress were different , say a square neckline and the lace on the bodice ended strictly at the waist, then I would say a choker would be okay. I'd skip the necklace and pair earrings with a bracelet. Or go with Andrea's suggestion and have a loose, dainty necklace (no pendant) or Y-shaped necklace.

I am thinking about pearls for myself as well. have no idea what to have the boyfriend wear though? pretty dress though
