Does any one know of a good venue that’s reasonable and somewhere you could stay with your guest and cook your own food ???

Most parks can accommodate this and will be much cheaper than a venue. You'll need a permit. Area is a key factor in price, people should be better able to help if you let us know your locale

I don’t know of anything at your location but any community center could work, they usually have a kitchen.
I’d normally suggest airbnb but most don’t allow events and the ones that do are going to charge you a hefty “wedding fee” that’ll outweigh any savings you had. It’s worth looking into because you could find a rare gem but beware, the sticker shock is real.

Some AirBnBs might do this. Many have rules against parties so you'll have to check with them individually.

    (Sorry double post)
Oh! What about a bed and breakfast? Most allow you the option to book the entire inn for weddings. Your guests could sleep there, you could celebrate the whole evening. You might be able to cook there with innkeeper’s permission.
We considered this option but it was outside our budget. It might be worth looking into for your wedding though.

The bed and breakfast is probably your best bet here. It can check off all the boxes!

Will the weather be warm enough to do something outdoors? Maybe a family members house with a large yard or a aren’t a Pavillion in a city park.

We had our welcome dinner at the North Tahoe Regional Park Ramada. It's a covered picnic area that seats 100 people with BBQ areas and running water and electricity. We had a catering company deliver food, but there is definitely enough space to have a cooking party. Of course, you'll need separate lodgings!

Most venues with kitchens only let caterers use their kitchen to heat up food, they do not permit actual cooking. Do you mean cook food for the wedding, or cook food for yourself for meals that don't occur during wedding time? You'll find that most people strongly discourage self catering. You could always get a food truck or a taco cart in a park. You'd need a permit, but that is a cheaper option

Sounds like you are looking for my venue but it’s in the middle of California not the location you mentioned.

It was near Yosemite. There’s about 5 cabins in it that can fit a good amount of people not all my guests were able to fit in it but I got the majority of them there the place isn’t considered a venue so there’s no restrictions like most places you can bring almost anything you want stay up as long as you want and make as much noise as you want there’s a decent size kitchen where my family cooked for rehearsal dinner and the morning after for breakfast. It was amazing I also noticed your theme is kinda rustic and that place is perfect for a rustic theme which was my theme as well

Yup! The only down side to that place is you have to provide everything yourself so you need to find all your vendors separately including DJ not sure what you count as reasonable price we payed 11 thousand for just that place and spent a bunch more on other vendors
