Need cute message/poem/saying

I typed that out already once, but fh made me delete it, they are his friends!!

I have recieved two e-mails today from guests saying they couldn't come. I put a stamp on the darn envelope for a reason!!!

" I'd heard that some of the people we'd invited to our wedding hadn't received the invitation. Since we had not heard back to you, we wanted to make sure that you received your invitation."

This gives them the opportunity to:

1- say no, in which case you apologize, get their correct address (for thank yous and a new invite,)give them the particulars, and get an answer.

2. say yes, and rsvp (hoepfully with all due apologies)

3. say yes and decline

This works like a charm and its more concerning then bitchy SNEAKY SNEAKY!

I sent an email out and I didnt sugar coat it. no cutsey poems, blah blah blah...

I said: "We sent out our invites on XXX and still have no heard from you and the deadline is XXX. We need to hear from you ASAP so we can get an acurate headcount for the food. We hope to hear from you soon!"

Everyone answered within a couple of days all saying "sorry...1) we lost it but we can come 2) Sorry we lost it and no we cant come.

EXCEPT ONE FAMILY NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO RESPOND. But thats another story.

The Bleep/Bleep Wedding is fast approaching and the RSVP deadline has come upon us! We wanted to remind you that we still need your RSVP card! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone, but we need your card to ensure we have plenty of food and a well stocked bar!
