Need advise on guest list

I did the same thing at a work event. That was really at the beginning of the planning stages. Since then we have come to realize that there needs to be a limit and we would have to omit some ppl..anyhow, it hasnt come up since then. I think as long as you dont send a STD or invitation that your ok!

I would think hard though before inviting any co-workers because that could create drama (I’ve read some of those stories here). Only if it’s a friend or two you see outside of work, or you’re super close but it wouldn’t disturb any circles. For example, if there’s a group of 3 co-workers you chill with in and out of work, invite all 3 or none of them. Leaving 1 or 2 out will cause issues.

If you're early into planning, a honest explanation to folks is fine. People understand that plans don't always come out the way you want.

I agree, just be honest! If you really feel guilty afterwards, maybe treat those few co workers to lunch one day!
