Need accountability buddies to get into wedding shape!!!!!

I have over a year to get into the kind of shape I'd like to for my wedding.

This has probably been done a zillion times on Wedding Wire, but I'd love to start

an accountability group. Anyone interested in joining to keep each other honest in meeting our fitness goals for the big day? Or I'd be happy to listen to any fitness tips that have worked for people.

I once lost 30 lbs doing Crossfit and Paleo. This time around, I'd love to find a "gentler" approach. Lol.

    I started doing Rebecca Louise fitness app BURN. It’s $8.99 a month but you have a workout to do everyday. It keeps me accountable because my goal is to do it 30 days in a row. There’s a Facebook group to build community as well.

    I absolutely love Fitness Blender on Youtube! When I don’t feel like working out (often) I usually just dance up a sweat to my favorite music. I make a playlist with 30 mins of my favorite music and dance around my house. 😂

    My wedding is Nov 2020. Right now I already exercise quite a bit. I do Jiu Jitsu 4 days a week and lift 2x week. I plan to ramp up my aerobic output by adding low intensity of 30 min of biking 3 times a week to promote blood circulation and muscle recovery.

    First and foremost, I'm switching to a plant based diet.

    My goals are to lose 2 lbs per week...… I'd like to lose about 15 lbs.

    I need to lose about 45 which I have gained in the last 8 months. It'll be tough.

    I'm just getting started on my diet and exercise plan. Y'all I won't lie I let myself go and I now were gh 245 lbs. Yikes!!!!!! The heaviest I have ever been in my life. After my brother used last year I turned to food for everything and it shows. I could really use some advice to burn this tummy off and tone up ladies. Congratulations to you all and good luck

    But totally doable! I'd say a combination of resistance training and HIIT will get you there with the proper diet. I'm going to focus on the same. I get enough exercise, but I need to be more consistent with my diet for sure.

    I hear ya. Well we all have tough times in our life, but just the fact that you've recognized where you're at and that you need to do something is a great starting point. As I mentioned in the previous post, I once lost 30lbs doing HIIT training and following a Paleo lifestyle. Right now, I'd like to lose 15lb. I really just need to be more consistent with my diet and be held accountable. Let's motivate each other!

    I would love to join! have been doing 8fitness app and popsugar YouTube videos. I have 20lbs to go and my wedding is in October. I try to exercise everyday even if it’s a 10 min walk And get in at “least 10,000 steps. I just can’t help snacking. I stress eat

    Yes....dancers have some of the best physiques!!!1 It's a great idea for when you don't feel like working out.

    I think so! I feel like I’m getting stronger. I’ve lost some weight but my eating habits haven’t been perfect. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Yes. Me too. My issue is diet. I'm now trying to cut out gluten, sugar and dairy. I know that in the past I've lost cutting out carbs and dairy.

    I'm doing Keto and working out and once it gets cool in Texas I'm going to start running again!
