Are you absolutely set on having a ceremony rehearsal with your wedding party and officiant? Or are you skipping the ceremony practice and more focused on the rehearsal dinner? Do you think the rehearsal is necessary or not? Photo by Rhinehart Photography in PA Next Question: Necessary or Not:...

I want to say not necessary, because we chose not to do one for our ceremony. But when I was walking down the aisle and the groom was on the wrong side, it occurred to me that we probably should have ran through that part a minute. Lol

Necessary because I have no idea what I'm doing and neither does anyone else! lol

Very necessary. We are having a Catholic wedding and guess who is not Catholic? ME, LOL! Most of my attendants are not even Christian nor had their own ceremonies in any type house of worship regardless of religion, so there you go. I think it will also help calm nerves and give everyone a sense of the run of show.

Definitely necessary! Your nervous enough and even though the ceremony pretty much guides you through, better to be prepared than to be messing things up at the wedding!

Different for everyone, I'm sure, but we need to rehearse since it'll be a religious ceremony (and not in English...) My poor wedding party will need to have a clue ahead of time!

NECESSARY. I want everyone to know what is going to happen on the actual wedding day and do not want people running around like chickens with their heads cut off because they don't know what to do.

Unless you aren't having a wedding party, absolutely. And even then, you'll probably want a rough walkthrough of the ceremony.

This one is totally neccassary especially if it is your first marriage. The rehearsal dinner is another story tho and not really needed

Super necessary! I know I like to be prepared for things so I am assuming everybody else is too. I want there to be no confusion on the wedding day and everybody to feel confident in what they are doing. We also have three folks playing music so it will give them a chance to see the layout of the wedding and know when to play certain songs. Also it gives my fiance a chance to practice not crying (although I know he will).

Necessary! We weren't initially doing a Rehearsal dinner but now we are because things worked out. But the ceremony rehearsal is a must and I think it'll help with nerves having an idea of what the flow should be

Definitely necessary. I have been in weddings, but being the Bride/center of attention is a completely different thing. You don't want to falter and look like an idiot in front of everyone, and your whole party needs to know what to expect.

We didn't do one. We had a small wedding party though and a simple ceremony. Really depends on how complex your ceremony is.

Lol!!! That's exactly how I feel, I'd rather just give everyone a heads up of how the ceremony is going to go!

I think so. You don’t want everyone scrambling trying to figure out what to do the day of the wedding

I think that it can be needed if you have a larger party/group but for my wedding its not needed because we're having such a small amount of people

Not necessary for us. It's both our 2nd marriage and no wedding party.
