And I don't give a DAMN! I just got off the phone with her. She's in Ohio. She said, "Missy, a lady from church wants to give me a brand new outfit for the wedding but it's off-white and I just wanted to see what you had to say about that." LMAO! I told her she can wear whatever she wants. White, hot pink, leopard...I don't care.
My Granny is 82 years old. She's from Tennessee and though she's lived in Ohio for the better part of those 82 years, she still has a deep Southern accent. She's given birth to 7 children but she's buried 6 of them...including my Daddy. She always makes time to go back to Tennessee for family reunions but she's never been to Florida, never even been on an airplane. I am lucky that I am able to fly her here and have her around for the week of the wedding. In the grand scheme of things...her wearing white to my wedding doesn't even come close to mattering. She will be wearing her brand new off-white outfit and she is gonna look glorious!
