My Finance's sister just told me she wants to sign her papers same week as our wedding, is it bad luck?

Both sets of my nieces and nephews got married within a month of their siblings. Everything is still together! The earlier set have been married for 7 years and have three kids and one on the way between them.

I have never heard of that superstition but I think, unless the siblings are getting married so close together for competition rather than love for their partner and readiness, then there shouldn’t be any marital issues associated with timing of marriage in relation to other family marriages.

You still get one day out of the year for your special day. Someone else having an important moment is not going to spoil your relationship or your joy. Congrats!!

No it’s not bad luck. Each couple gets one 24 hour period for their wedding out of the year. So they could marry the day before and it would be fine since guests only have to travel once
