My dress arrived and it still fits poorly. Anyone else?

Sorry to revive an old thread. But I had my fitting last week and I just wanted to cry the whole time because I couldn't visualize it. The thing was so damn big and it's costing so much to make it look like it should. It's being taken in at ever angle, taken up on the top and bottom, cups taken out and cups for big boobs put in haha The dress regret is real with this one lol. I'm just praying when I put it back on in a few weeks that it's what I pictured and I cry HAPPY tears this time. And I am having a hell of a time finding a belt that I love but also goes with the dress and that I can match a statement necklace too. Fuck it, I'm wearing yoga pants down the aisle. lol

It's reassuring seeing these! I ordered the sample size of my dress - the fit is so off right now (I start dress fittings in 2 weeks). It's a double keyhole back and the middle back strap is too tight, a solid 1.5 inches from closing when it came in, but the owner ordered extra lace to extend it (the sample was a tight fit, but closed.. we think it was stretched out a bit). It's around my ribcage.. so even weight loss won't help too much there. The hips fit well when I tried it on, but the top is a solid 3-4 sizes too big! Problems of a girl with curves on the bottom and none on top!!

I'm definitely nervous about my alterations - but i'm hoping the first appt will put me at ease.
