My dream wedding dress 💔

Today is the day when I picked up my dream dress. I made the biggest mistake in trying it on before leaving the store.... its my dream dress and I am beyond heartbroken. My partner and I made the decision to cancel our wedding of October 24,2020 due to financial issues as well as COVID. We decided to revisit this chapter later on in life for numerous reasons. This doesn’t change all the mixed emotions I am currently feeling. I literally feel like a part of me was taken away and I just cant stop crying.


I will be selling my dress but I would at least like to share with you all how perfect this dress is to me since I can’t show my hubby. Please excuse my swollen red face from all the sobbing I did. My dream wedding dress 💔 1My dream wedding dress 💔 2

    So sorry to hear you will be parting with your dress. It's absolutely gorgeous. I'm not sure if you thought of anywhere to sell your gem but I got my dress of a bridal resale site called stillwhite.com. You can also just preserve your dress as well until you come across another time for your wedding.

    I am very sorry and I can imagine that was a hard thing to do. I am sorry you are going through this. I like the first poster's idea of preserving it for a later time. Also, not my business to know all the back story but maybe consider eloping just you two and maybe a couple of family members or friends so you can wear your dress.

    You look amazing in your dream dress. It's totally okay to cry uncontrollably because it's not fair and totally sucks. Maybe do a photoshoot with you dress, full hair and makeup and include your hubby; such as a 'wedding photoshoot'; that way you get to take advantage of the look and still put it to good use. All is not lost. You're beautiful! Keep smiling.

    We actually did elope last Sept 2019 . No one knows. We wanted to have a wedding but the circumstances wouldn't allow it at the time. Thank you ❤️
