Moving + Save the Date in one card?? What do you think?

What do you think of this idea or how would I work it? Let me start by saying we were never going to do save the dates just to save some expense. But in a couple weeks FH and I will finally be moving in together into a new family home! Which got me thinking about sending out "new address" cards but combining it as a save the date. What do you think? It will be about 6 months before the wedding.

I have a day off of work today and just stalling before I have to do housework so I'm thinking wedding stuff.

    That could be cute! You could do something like a "Lots of big changes coming soon" type design!

    You could also do a save the date with a note on the back saying "We've moved! Our new address is: XX" then include it on your return address on the envelope too?

    We sent out our save the dates and stuck address labels on them because we moved. Not sure anyone actually needs our address. But they have it if they do!

    I think that totally makes sense. It'd be cute, cost effective, and if anyone wants to send wedding cards or such to your house, they'd have the right address.
