When I showed one of my friends a song I was considering walking down the aisle to, she said "Oh, I've heard that at the last three weddings I went to." ... i had absolutely no idea.

So as far as processional, first dance, father/daughter, etc. ... what are the most overplayed songs, in your opinion?

DGAF that 1000 years is overplayed, I'm walking down the aisle to it, because I've wanted to since the very first time that I heard it.

And I cry when it comes on every single time. WAHHHHHHHHHHH.

Yeah the more "rustic" weddings everyone wants to hear friends in low places

I am walking to Cannon, no F*cks given, it is a beautiful song for a bride to walk to. We will likely play friends in low places at the reception. FH loves that song, and our wedding is not rustic, but I understand how that song would fit into a rustic/country wedding. I thought about doing brown eyed girl for the father daughter dance song, as I have brown eyes and remember my dad playing that song when I was a kid a lot. Though I listened to all the lyrics recently and it is not a lovely father daughter song, but I have heard it is used as such a lot.

FH just decided we're going to have Walking on Sunshine for our recessional. It might be overplayed, but I don't know?? The bridal party is walking in to I Choose You, which is totally cliche, but IDGAF.

I refuse to walk down the aisle to Canon. I love classical music but I DO NOT like that song.

@Jaklyn - that seriously made me laugh! I think my FH would find it HILARIOUS if I chose "move bitch, get out the way" for the bouquet toss! Grandma might not approve though.

Oh man! I may have to steal that move bitch song! How awesome! lol I have a few cliche songs but idgaf. Fh wants all of me so badly as our first dance. His persistence wore me down! And that rainbow song is our mother/son dance. My dad isn't coming to my wedding so instead fh is dancing w his mom and I'm dancing w my oldest son. I used to sing both songs to my teen when he was a baby! So, it's perfect for us!
