We are having our Save the Date and Invitations done by a close friend, and will incorporate an art deco monogram. Still working out details. The monogram will also be used with our cake and aisle runner. So, here's my question...I know for most printed items, the bride's name come first; however, I wonder if for the monogram what your thoughts are re: having the groom's initial come first. I ask because his first name starts with T and mine with L - I was thinking that TL could stand both for our names, and True Love. Also, if we were able to incorporate the last name initial, which is N - could stand for Truly 'N Love. I know, sappy, but I am a hopeless hopeless romantic. Just wondering what your thoughts are specifically re: the monogram, and whether you think if we switch it up on the monogram, we should switch it up elsewhere as well. Ok, done rambling now. Thanks for your input
