Mom's Birthday on my Wedding

Have a little birthday cake for her to come out at some point? I don't know how much you want to distract from your day but it would vary. Our wedding date was almost my moms bday/gparents anniversary but I decided no.

Play happy birthday at the reception and maybe a birthday toast. It will only take a few minutes and will hardly be a distraction.

Have a celebratory birthday toast with her while you guys are getting ready if she is going to be with you and as Mary recommended play happy birthday for her - if you are planning to have someone toast your parents you can also have them wish your Mom happy birthday at that time.

In your bouqet, have a single rose and as you approach the altar, turn to your mother and hand her the rose and whisper

Happy Birthday MoM I love you !

what I would give to have her here with me, especially on my wedding day..

may only be a few seconds added to your program, but a few seconds she will cherish the rest of her life.............

A small birthday cake and a special song for her at your reception with a toast would be sweet! You could present the birthday cake after you and FH cut your cake and before you serve everyone, cut your mom's cake with her?

I love Suzanne's idea. You can also put a little note in your program, dedicate a song/dance to her at your reception, put together a little slide show with pictures of her throughout her life, or pictures of you and her throughout YOUR life?

This amuses me, because my wedding was on MY birthday, and my birthday got overlooked by everyone!

I liked Diana's idea too of cutting the cake with your mom lol maybe you could get her a little cake cutting set just for kicks?
