Modern or Traditional: Wedding Vows?

I love the bell sendoff as you leave the church! All of these significant pieces of your wedding day are going to be so great and make it so unique!

Traditional all the way! I don't think either of us would get through our own personal vows without totally breaking down. We'll have cards written to open the morning of the wedding for our own personal sentiments

We'll have a mix of both. We both want the "in sickness and health" stuff, but we have known each other for over 33 years, so we want to say some things to each other too

We were definitely going to write our own instead of the traditional but i like the idea of having both! our wedding isn't traditional and by the book in certain aspects but i do think i'd like for the vow part to include the classic vows too.

I think both but because we are both bad/scared of public speaking we are going to do traditional ones then on our honeymoon read the ones we write when its just us.

It's kind of a surprise as of right now. We invited my boss, and good friend, to be our officiant. This will be his first wedding, and is getting certified just for this occasion. His exact reaction when I asked him to officiate was, "I'm so excited, I'll write something really special for you guys!" So I know it'll be so great.
