Mismatched wedding bands??

He wants this band..which I will not be matching. lol. I'll be pairing with my own.

We have not gotten ours. I would like for them to go together but if not than I will just pick something that goes well with my ering.

Ours don't match at all. FH got a black one and then actually ended up with a black silicone band.

I found it best that we both chose our own style with the wedding bands. That way we both get what we want, versus settling for something that looks good when our hands are close together.

This is my e-ring with the matching band - obviously, can't really match it to FH's ring, so we're not trying. He wants a plain, yellow gold band. I don't think it's a very big deal to match.

Ours don't match. Mine matches my E ring, but he did pick one that has complimentary features. Mine has miligrain detail, and he chose one that has that as well.

It's just important that you both love them individually!

I'd never heard of husband and wife matching metals until I came here. I'm getting what looks nice with my engagement ring and he's getting something that he'll be happy wearing every day.

Ours won't match. They will both be mixed metals, but other than that they're different. To me it's more important that we each love the ring we wear.

FH and I had our rings custom made by a local jeweler. They are the same, except mine has a stone set in it. I will only wear the one band after we are married.

But I don't see any reason you have to do one way or another.

FH actually ordered a band that sort of imitated my e-ring. I have a rose gold ring with a black Diamond. He ordered a tungsten band with a really thin inlay stripe of rose gold and a tiny inset black stone. So we kind of match haha.

Ours will not match. FH found one that was similar to mine, but then found one that really liked that looks nothing like mine. He was thinking they had to match too, I'd rather he wear one that he really likes. It all depends on what your and your FH want.

I am having 2 anniversary bands one on each side of my ring so his wont match mine at all!

Do not get matching bands. You should each have a wedding band that you love, that is your style, and that you will be excited to wear the rest of your life!
