Help!! I can't decide if I want to get matching bands with my fiance or if I should try to get a band that goes well with my engagement ring!?? What did you all decide on?

He got my ERing and band together, they both are gold bands with diamond and moonstone so I decided I wanted to get him a gold band so it matches mine a little bit.

We tried to match as closely as possible, but I wanted him to also choose something he loved. So he chose one that is just different enough but with a little rose gold that matches my e-ring

We didn't match ours at all. His is tungsten and mine is white gold. His brother and SIL each have a yellow gold band but we didn't care.

My wedding band will have diamonds in it and he plans to find one with diamonds in his band as well. It won't match completely but they will be similar.

Our bands don't match...let him choose something he'll actually like wearing...and get something that YOU will like wearing. It's a ring you'll have forever, so make sure YOU like it! Smiley smile

My e-ring came as a set with the wedding band. It was more important to me for my rings to match. I want FH to be happy with his ring rather than trying to match me.

He was all excited about matching bands at one point, but I really want to use my grandmother's band (I'm named for her, and she recently passed away after 70+ years of happy marriage). So he's getting his own. They won't match in any way, but I don't mind...as long as we each love ours and the marriage is solid.

The one my FH wanted originally didn't match at all, but in the end he ended up getting one that kind of matches, just because he liked it more

Our bands don't match. My FH band is his grandfathers wedding band that's yellow gold. Mine is white gold.

Ours do not match. He really wanted the black tungsten ring while I wanted to match my ring.

Ours do match, but only because that is the one he really liked. He looked at others that didn't match.
