Mimosa Bar-need your help!

Nikkeisha, on September 25, 2019 at 6:35 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 26

So we have been going back and forth regarding having alcohol at our reception as we don't drink and majority of our guest don't either. We finally decided on doing a Mimosa bar which seems pretty easy. What are the most popular flavors (orange, pineapple, cranberry)?.

Yes, I think orange is probably the most popular flavor. But I also like passion fruit, and mango!! Yum!

I also think your compromise is a great idea to please all!!

Raspberry lemonade was a huge hit at my mimosa bar at the bridal shower! I just bought the “simply” brand!

How fun?! Raspberry and pomegranate seeds are some more options to add some flavor. Strawberry is one of the best!

I wouldn’t go crazy you don’t have to get anything expensive! I can’t remember the brand (my mother purchased it) but it was only like $7 per bottle and tasted amazing lol!

Wouldn't get too crazy with juices maybe three or 4 options but having fresh fruit always takes it up a notch. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, kiwifruit, pineapple, watermelon

Zonin Prosecco is pretty cheap and one of our favorites! $6.99 at Trader Joe’s, maybe $9.99 at other stores.

I agree! I think two juice options is fine plus fruit. Sone people can’t do juice because of the sugar (diabetics), or just prefer it plain.

My mom had orange juice, pineapple juice, and grapefruit juice. I think pineapple was the most popular!

Grapefruit juice mimosas are a huge hit in our area. We've had a few mimosa and brunch parties and always do 4 juices and 4 purees as well as fresh fruit. For juices we've done combos of orange, lemonade, limeade, grapefruit, and pomegranate-cran and then we made purees out of peaches, mangos, blackberries, cherries, and strawberries. One thing we did for our last party was put out a few different flavors of Giffard flavored liqueurs (violet, rhubarb and raspberry) and that added a whole new level of combinations. Strawberry rhubarb mimosas, yum!!
