Meeting with wedding planner

We’re looking to get someone to do either partial planning or a day of coordinator, and I’m meeting with someone this Sunday! Do you guys have any tips on questions I should ask and how to make it a productive meeting? Also where have you guys met with your planners? She told me to name a place but not sure where!

We used a month-of coordination service and our first meeting was at a Starbucks. Some questions to ask include whether they will create your wedding day timeline for you, whether they will have an assistant the day-of (impacts the number of vendor meals), how late they will stay until and if they will help with tear-down, and if there are any limitations on their helping with decor setup (e.g. past a certain height or weight).

I met mine at a brewery in town and then we met again at starbucks to sign our contract

We've met at local cafes every time so far. I'd ask if your coordinator has any experience working at your venue or with your vendors (if you've booked anything so far). Honestly, when we first met with ours, I had some questions planned, but she gave us a lot of information and basically answered everything before I needed to ask
