MAY 2020 BRIDES we officially are in the 6 month countdown Wooohooo! Where is everyone in their planning process now as we get closer toward the end of the year? We officially booked our wedding cake yesterday all we need is an officiant! I still need to schedule a makeup trail + order invites but I feel like that can wait? What’s something you just accomplished and stuff still that needs to get done?

Yeesssss!!!!! It's so close now I can taste it!

We have our cake and DJ/photographer lined up and have paid deposits but not signed yet.

Signed with the caterer on Monday and FMIL graciously offered to pay the $5200 tab for that as her wedding gift to us! I was totally floored because I did not expect her to offer to pay for something that is the bulk of our expenses.

Got our STDs and need to send those out now that we have all the addresses. Invites we'll get in like late-Jan and send out late-Feb.

Next for me to do is figure out a rough timeline for the caterer and cake people.

We've hit a roadblock when it comes to officiant because of our difference in faiths.

WOW 6 months that just made my stomach drop!

We have booked our ceremony & receptions sites, caterer, officiant, & photographer.

I have bought my dress and shoes as well. We are doing spotify so working on our playlists. We need to buy the alcohol, chose cake vendor ( have had bad luck so far ) , flowers which will be minimal. Fiance is supposed to be designing our invites.

Getting addresses has been the biggest pain of them all!

It feels so long still to me but I know it’s going to FLY there’s so much to do! We used minted address collector if you knows peoples emails you can send them an email using the link and it prompts them to enter their address and will automatically upload into your minted contact list Smiley smile

I can't even believe it, so exciting!! I feel like time has been flying by!

Checked off our list so far are: Venue (same place for ceremony and reception), Photog, videographer, engagement pics done, sent the Save the Dates, Priest, Florist, String Quartet for ceremony/cocktail hour, DJ and hair/makeup all booked, and my dress which will be in any time now (eeek). Website has been done along with two registries. Also have the location and date for my bridal shower in March. My Mom has been a huge help keeping me on track to get all the major things done before the craziness of the holidays start next month. That's when I can focus on DIY things and smaller details. Hoping to get some good black friday deals on gifts for the wedding party, my shoes and accessories!

Still to do: food tasting at the venue which will be in Nov, meet with baker and pick out cake next month as well. Hotel room block (narrowing down hotel) and transportation. Also trying to figure out the honeymoon. Working on bridesmaid's dresses now which should be done next week, and I've slowly been buying decor like candles, chargers etc.

It's funny I thought my to-do list would shrink as I book vendors, but each time I take something off a new item pops up!

Hi! I'm getting married May 30th. I still need to book the DJ, ceremony musicians, officiant, hair and makeup, get the dress altered, book florist (just for bouquet and boutonniere), and buy a few more small decorations (table runners, special tablecloth for sweetheart table, tall bronze candlesticks, candles). I feel like I have done so much, but there is still so much more to do.

For our Rome/Krakow/Budapest honeymoon, we still need to book one last hotel (the hotels for the first two cities are booked), book two more photoshoots (we're having a photoshoot in all three cities), and book a cooking class in every city to learn how to make traditional dishes. We both still need to buy proper luggage, and my fiancé needs to get his passport.

A bit behind on my Save The Dates. I am currently tying to get my Save The Dates out before the end of the month. They are on there way right now then I gotta send them out. What I have booked: hair + makeup, officiant, venue, drinks + catering, "photographer" (fiance brother + my aunt are our photographers), and DJ. I have one more cake tasting at an different bakery then I will probably book the first place. I'm also currently trying to figure decor, cake toppers, getting more flowers for bouquets and other important smaller details. I feel like I'm so crunched for time even though I still have 6 months especially since I have had a pretty long engagement (engaged june 2018).

Oh wow that makes it sound so much sooner!! I’m getting married 5/2/20 and we just reached under 200 days which sounds like forever! But less than 6 months is pretty exciting!
We need invitations, some flowers and a little work on table design, details like a card box, guest book, cake topper...I’ve got things saved that I like but I haven’t ordered them yet. We also need my fiancé’s outfit and ring and wardrobe for the whole bridal party. So mostly details, but still a few big things!

Ohh boooyyyy!! Yikes, that makes it sound soo much sooner than it feels like. We've got the big stuff done - church and reception venue, officiant, photographer as well as my dress ordered and guys tux’s figured out. And we have most of our decorations. Working on our STD’s and invites since we’re making them.

We know who is going to do our catering, but waiting to book them, and our flowers. We need to get a tasting done with our cake lady and sign that contract... Biggest thing we still need to find is a DJ

    oh boy.....

I've secured the venue for the ceremony and reception (same place), that also providing catering and bar services!! I've sent std's and bought the invites. The Photographer is confirmed. I've got all the items needed for the extra stuff I'm doing like candy and dessert bars decor and setup. I've got my centerpieces boxed. I have my ceremony dress already and my bm's dresses are ordered from David's Bridal.
Next a dj, officiant, reception look, wedding night hotel.

I've got all of the important stuff (church, reception restaurant, photographer, makeup/hair, priest, DJ, hotel block, wedding coordinator and rehearsal dinner). I've got my wedding gown and party dress, both altered and ready go to, with the reception dress still being made (it's custom).

However, we've been dragging our feet figuring out guest list, invites, and wedding website. Not to mention that we're having a Catholic wedding, so we've only started the actual church prep. And we've only started looking into getting ready for engagement photos, but it's tough because holidays are coming up.

I fear that I am incredibly behind Smiley sad Still need to figure out church music, decor, flowers, signage, groom outfits, wedding party outfits, and photo booth props. Part of the problem is that we are having 200-250 guests, and I'm a perfectionist, lol.

We're getting married 5/25! We secured an all-in-one venue, a photographer, a DJ, and an officiant, and I have my dress, shoes, and accessories and my FH has his suit. Save the dates are sent out. Need to work on a florist and a cake. Then we just wait. :-) I'm trying to be a very low key bride. This is my second wedding and my FH's first, so he wanted this much more than I did, but I have to admit I am enjoying the process so much.
