May 2020 brides

Where we are at:
1.the guys still have to do suit fitting which is late to me and will happen next week Sat ..im myself is quit overwhelmed with this bc i feel we did this too late and praying everything works out with our style and our colors for the guys suits.Its funny bc I'm more worried then my husband and this is his department lol
2.We have to place our final Deposite by April 23 for our venue. Which the savings for that has been going we have placed an huge amount down from Nov 2019.👌3.wedding favors ill complete by the end of the month which my maid of honor will buy half and so will I.4.my veil end of the month5. Flower girls shoes ill grab this weekend6. Flowers ( my bridesmaid which is my bff will and has decided to pay for that for us which is amazing)7.Our cake (my other bridesmaids who is my cuzin will be buying our cake which is so nice of her)8. Our photographer next week on the 13th shell be paid in full!!9.offical invites go out next week on the 13th i feel we waited so long to send these as well smh Everything is next week majority so my maid of honoree (who is my brother lol) will help me get the task done.
Looking at the this list shows we still have more to do within 2 month uggghhhh

FH getting fitted for his suit in a week or so, he wanted to lose some weight before getting a new suit, he wants to order by the 19th.

I'm going to my aunt's this Sunday with my shoes to try my dress on, she sent me a text this morning saying she was a little concerned about the button loops on the back of it. Hopefully it looks okay with the sleeves taken off. I'm a little twitchy about that today.

Need to get the flowers but I know what I'm getting and where from.

I've been debating on arches for the receptions space which is a grey wood amphitheater. I can't find the picture I had saved before of an arch decorated like curtain style for a kind of ~reveal~ when I walk down the aisle. My biggest concerns are transporting them to the venue, getting them inside the reception space after the ceremony (which is like, 20 feet), and what to do with them afterward.

Also need to plan the rehearsal dinner, which will probably be more like a late lunch.

And I need to figure out my days off from work for the wedding, and the accommodations of where to get ready and stuff the day of, since our venue is a nature center with no place to do so.

Oh man. We are a little later but we have 79 days to go. Invites went out last week, I'm trying to figure out honeymoon details, need to find a rehearsal dinner dress, figure out my centerpieces, and start paying people. I think we have a lot of our music finalized. We need to finish the ceremony and finalize FH's ring. My ring is done and I get it next week! It feels like I'm most nervous about all the details and making sure everyone is in the right place, but I think it will be okay.

Next weekend I'm spending 3 days with my FMIL and her sisters which I'm SUPER excited about. End of April is our shower, May 9th is the bachelorette party, and May 23 is the wedding. I'm most excited about the flight to Jamaica with my husband though. Then all the planning and stress will be over!

I'm at 85 days to go. FH and his men are getting fitted for their suits this weekend. My BMs all have their dresses ordered and they should be here anytime. Next week, after payday hits, we'll make final payments to the photographer, DJ, baker, and my seamstress. Also I will buy the last few decor bits that I have saved in my cart on Amazon, as well as the flower girl dress. We have our venue tasting to finalize our menu next week. Things are going really smoothly so far, and everyone has been pretty laid back, including me!

My shower is April 18. My sister is throwing me a brunch for it. She lives in Idaho, and she's coming to CA for it, but as it turns out, she won't be able to come back to CA again until the wedding, so we're floating the idea of having the bachelorette party on April 18 also, just at night. If we don't do it that night, my sister won't be able to come. So, even though that makes for a long day for me, I told her I could attend two parties in one day, as long as I get a nap in between. lol

85 days aaand a bridesmaid dropped out today. Looking forward to my bridal shower next weekend!!

We're at 57 days out (May 2nd). My bridal shower is this weekend, bachelorette party later in the month. The thing I'm working on right now is getting all the guys to get their suits fitted. The vendor recommended they have them done early March, but it's been like pulling teeth trying to get them over there. We actually have about half of our RSVPs in, though all of them are from my side and mutual friends.
