Centerpiece suggestion- I’m going with rustic but romantic for our wedding and we’re having long tables, I’m doing a strand of eucalyptus scattered with a few flowers candles and then some wine bottles stuffed with soft lights
I am May 23 2019. I have the check written for the venue which will be turned in as soon as the So reads the contract and signs it. I have a friend in mind to dj, my boots are already purchased and I have a dress in mind from the internet along with accessories, faux flowers are purchased to DIY bouqet and decor, then I have been picking up other decor pieces here and there for the reception which will continue.
The other things have researched but still need more work. We will not rent transportation, use florist, and DJ will likely do all the music... planner is a maybe, I need to discuss that with future husband.
Wow, I thought I was ahead of the game but after reading some of what other May 2019 brides have done I feel like I need to get on the ball. I have the venue which doubles as the caterer and reception site. I also have designed and have my save the dates printed. Since we have a destination wedding I'll probably be sending those out by the end of July. May 3, 2019 will be here soon!

I was having a panic attack here see how much everyone has done !! We are in the same boat 😂 I have a vague idea of what I want but nothings set in stone yet!
Hello Ladies- I am new to this forum and excited to announce my wedding date as May 26, 2019! So far, I have just secured my venue a small historic inn and selected members of my wedding party. I am having a very small wedding only inviting 40 people or less. This wedding is the second time around for me and the first for my fiance. My theme will be both rustic/boho/Zen inspired. However, I want it to be elegant and inexpensive.
Here is a synopsis of where I am:
I just reviewed this article which I thought was interesting about what will be in and out in 2019.
I am researching the decor and trying to nail down a color scheme which is for some reason a little challenging for me since I work in the interior design industry and have so many ideas. I love the lush green tablescapes I am seeing. Anyone doing that? How expensive is it?
I have also been working on what kind of music I want. Not sure if it is too early to secure musicians.
I will focus on the dress later after 6 months.
I have created a Pinterest Page focused on the wedding to gather all of my thoughts.
I am now focusing on Engagement photos. I spoke to two photographers I know. Looking to secure and have the photos done this fall.
I am also trying to secure my favorite make up artist so I can nail her down for the wedding. Folks is it too early to do this part?
To cut costs I am not doing an engagement party, nor a rehearsal dinner...
I am considering a bridal shower next spring.
Looking for vendors who have unique wedding invitation designs. Should I do a Save the Date? If so, when?
I keep thinking I am too early planning for a lot this since my location is already secured. Thoughts?
May 26, 2019: I’ve purchased my dress, booked the Chapel, photographer, and reception venue which is local restaurant with banquet room. I’ve picked my florist, videographer but have not booked them and now checking into Cakes shops/ cake tasting. So happy to be marrying my soulmate, We just want a no hassle wedding day. Our Rehearsal dinner will be at my home in the backyard- actually having my backyard landscape redone next week so everything should be lush for event by next year. Still haven’t decided on wedding colors yet!
We're getting married May 11, 2019. It's coming so fast; I really can't believe it! We've booked the DJ, photographer, venues, party bus, and bought my dress! We have someone taking care of the ceremony music.
I still need to get bridesmaids' dresses, which I'm dreading because I have two girls out of state... anyone else have this issue? I'm not sure how to coordinate this.
My date is may 11, 2019! I have my venue, caterer, alcohol, dj, minister, photography, hair, possibly makeup, bridesmaids dresses, tuxes for groom and groomsmen, my wedding dress, engagement pics done, cake person, filling out invites soon bc were not doing save the dates. but I feel like I have so much more to do 🤦♀️
My wedding is going to be in September- October 2019. We have a venue and thats it. Lol we are enjoy the wedding process and plan to not over stress. Im still looking at dresses and we plan to have a set date by this October
I have the same date! We have our photographer, venue, dj, officiant, cake, bartender, photo booth, picked my dress and my bridesmaids chose their dresses as well. We are just looking for a florist and honeymoon still and other small things. I am a teacher though so I am trying to get a lot done before I go back to school and won’t have as much time.

Can relate on out of state bridesmaids - I have two as well - or well I will, I haven’t asked any of mine yet LOL but I am planning on doing so this week with a little gift (thanks Prime Day)! I’m using Bella Bridesmaids so they can go to the one closest to them since it’s a chain.
Twin Dates. I have dress, photographer, dj, bridemaids dresses, mother of the bride dress, and hair. I'm working on finding a makeup person, videographer and a florist by the end of this month if I can.

All I have is the date set too! Mine will be June 1st. I plan on booking the venue next month once I have the deposit. I’ve got all the small things figured out, but still have to book it all LOL
We have the big things done; venue, band, photographer, hair/make-up, dress and bridesmaids' dresses. Currently working on some DIY projects and decorations, mailing save the dates, and over the Fall am planning to order silk flower bouquets and some bridesmaids gifts from Etsy, and finding a veil and other accessories for me since my dress could come in as early as October *fingers crossed*!
I have an out-of-town bridesmaid and I selected dresses from David's Bridal since there is one near her. I'm also not forcing her to physically be here for every little thing as she's finishing up her doctoral program this year, so hopefully she won't have any issues with making the bigger events like the shower and bachelorette party.
