Married people - what did you do with your photos

No insight, but I'm very curious to see the answers. I know people who spent a fortune on photography and never really did anything with the photos, which IMO is pointless.

We posted a bunch on Facebook, made albums for our parents, and have framed several in our apartment! We're out of wall space so there isn't much more we can do at home

WWLynnie, we have a 1 bedroom apartment, so wall space is a premium!

We plan on using our photos as gifts (framed ind. pics and/or in photo album books). We have also started picking out which ones to print and hang in our home. Definitely going to canvas at least one.

Part of our package includes a wedding album, 8x10 prints (12 of them I believe), and a 10x20 metal canvas - so we'll definitely be hanging those on the walls in our apartment. I will have one or two at my desk at work, and will make a FB album, and post some on IG as well.

I think we are just going to upload our favorites and get an album made through shutterfly. Parents don't want albums (I asked). My Mom had me print a couple for her to take to show her friends in Europe. Other than that I don't think anyone wants any, and we never hang up pictures of ourselves. Album will just sit on a shelf somewhere I guess. Someday maybe we'll dig it out to look at it.

@el10717-I love our pictures but I do sometimes feel it was waste of money for us personally. We just don't care that much about pictures. We may feel differently 10-20 years from now. Only time will tell. As of now, eh. We looked at them once. They were nice. The day is done.

We printed out one large 16x20 photo that's in our living room/staircase area and then 2 11x14 family photos of each of our families - currently trying to get H to help me hang them up in the hallway.

My mom wants a photo of us so I'm working on printing and sending her one and we are planning to send his mom a family photo on canvas.

Eventually I want to do a photo album but I'll wait a while on that

We hung pictures up, made a Shutterfly album, and are finally having a professional album made.

I'm like, really bad about decorating. I have no pictures or artwork on my walls. I definitely plan to put some up on the walls... Maybe like a collage of a few different ones. I also plan on getting a photo album made. I will get one made for my parents as well.

I made albums for ourselves & for our parents. Other close family members, I sent one pic of us & then the pics they were in. People seemed to enjoy receiving them.

We have tons of wedding pictures all over our house, haha. They are in frames as well probably 5 canvases. I love photos! We also gifted our parents some photos that first Christmas. One of these days maybe I'll get around to making a wedding album...

@Nikki I'm so glad you mentioned that! I have been waiting to see your Pro BAM and figured I'd missed it! (Yes, I'm a mild stalker, I'm not above admitting it) hehe!

This is why I provide albums. You can't go wrong there. May as well have tangible goods rather than photos you paid dearly for, that sit in a sock drawer on a device that will be obsolete in a few years. Some amp at the cost but none regret it.

I want to get a bunch to hang... but by the time we have a house of our own to hang stuff, I'm afraid it will be weird because it will be a couple years. I plan to hang it with my guest book canvas.

I like the mix tile app stuff, or at least the clean look of it.
