I can’t sleep so I was thinking about the wedding ceremony. FH and I plan on writing our own vows. I also like the poem Marriage Box which I want read during my ceremony. I thought I could make a box similar to this one I found online, have it empty during the ceremony and after our vows are read put our written out vows in the box. Cute? Tacky? Unnecessary? Sweet?

I think that sounds great. It's like a unity ceremony but very unique. If you wanted to, you could even involve your guests by having them write on small pieces of paper or wood like in the picture you shared, and drop them in the box, or drop in pre-written ones.

I think it's super sweet! As one PP said, like a unity ceremony but unique! I have not seen this at any of the weddings I've been to. I think it's a great idea!
