Hi everyone I am getting married in 6 days in San Diego. Right now, I am good to go all of my vendors are still on board. We have only lost maybe 15 people (145 total currently) after sending out a email telling them we totally understand if they were not comfortable or able to attend. However, I am absolutley besides myself with guilt. I feel that if I do not postpone I am being selfish and contributing to the possible spread of this disease. I do not have a high number of elderly attending, but my grandmother is deadset on attending and is not concerned about the risk.

Are there any other brides out there suffering like me? Feeling like having your wedding is irresponsible? I would love to hear from anyone getting married this coming saturday as well.

Thank you so sorry to all of you beautiful brides struggling through this, with this extra added layer.

Hi there, I had my wedding date for March 21, 2020 also. We had to cancel the big ententes but got legally married in that day by my brother.

What are your current plans for your wedding? We are aiming to postpone to the end of the year if it is safe then. We were getting married in San Ramon, Ca in the Bay Area.

My wedding was scheduled for 1 year ago. It hasn’t happened yet because of COVID.

Andy I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m the same way. Today (March 22) should be my one year anniversary, yet we still aren’t married and on date #4. We are both the true epitome of a COVID wedding, in a way that most COVID couples can’t truly comprehend. I hope you’re able to safely get married soon and that this nightmare is a thing of the past.

I am sorry to you too. Yeah, we had to cancel 5 days before our wedding. It was brutal, but at the time there was so much more to worry about because we are nurses as well. We never had time to think about it. We’re getting married 7/31/21 now date #3. Hopefully it all works out.

I really hope it works out for you too. Being the OG week of COVID brides was so gnarly.

I’m so sorry this happened, that must have been brutal getting that close. Mine was supposed to be April 2020 and arguably the worst part of all this is how close we got, and how we planned our wedding for 1.5 years to have it not happen. I hope you were at least able to have a normal shower or bachelorette, that is something I count myself lucky for since a lot of Covid brides did not have that. Hoping your wedding is amazing in July 💕
