Malibu wedding in early Nov?

I think it’ll depend on how the venue handles events in not-so-ideal weather, since not only do you have to consider how warm or cold it could be, but also the possibility of rain. Even in the days leading up to my outdoor June wedding, there was a risk of rain in the forecast. Luckily, it didn’t, but it just goes to show that unless you do a summer July/August wedding, you have to have backup plans for weather in place. Also, you need to consider who is on your guest list. If you’ve got a lot of elderly people or people sensitive to the cold on the list, I’d avoid an outdoor reception at the very least. I think if you did a tent with space heaters and the bathrooms are close by, you could make it work since you’d essentially be creating a heated room. But if that’s not an option, I’d maybe instead consider a venue with an indoor option so you have an easy backup option just in case.

No I don't think so. I am less worried about the rain and more worried if it will be uncomfortable cold despite heating lamps....what do you think?

I've never actually been to a wedding in Malibu or visited to I'm not familiar with the weather there. What is it typically like at this time of year? Are outdoor weddings uncommon in November?
