I want to see future brides' engagement rings! Is there any significance of your ring? Share below!

Thanks! I adore it! I love that moissanite is more sparkly than diamond - it has a higher index of fraction so it bends light more Smiley smile

We both love green and he was anti-diamond. He compromised on the setting since "no one died for diamonds that small" and it would have cost almost double for different stones in the setting I wanted. Smiley smile

I asked for color and got a ruby! I love it so much! We're getting a new band altogether for the wedding and I'm still deciding of I'm going for an opal (my birthstone) or an emerald (my favorite gem).

We went into a local jeweler and I told him I loved moonstone, he showed us this super rare moonstone gem. I’d never seen moonstone like it, it shifts from black to blue. When my FH proposed I said YOU GOT THE MOONSTONE, he said of course I did😉☺️

We picked mine together because the ring he actually proposed with was pearl (I LOVE pearls) and the pearl fell out so we're getting it fixed for a sometimes wearer. So when looking for this one, I just told him I wanted something small and dainty and this is what we came up with. Also rose gold and morganite and I love it!

I absolutely love your ring! My ring is a custom design because I couldn't find anything vintage-y/unique enough for me, but if I had seen your ring and band I probably would have picked That! Lol

The center stone is FH’s great grandmother’s diamond, but the other stones are tanzanite. The tanzanite is my son’s birthstone. FH designed my ring with a jeweler, and he knew he needed to include my son, who he just adopted. He wanted my ring to representative of the three us becoming a family, not just us getting married.

hmm I guess my boring diamonds from FH's grandmother who raised him in replacement of his bio mom are just meaningless huh? I'm not sure why anyone feels the need to call out one or the other. I think a lot of the rings on this thread are gorgeous but just because you lead with "no offense" doesn't mean it wasn't offensive.

I was about to say the same thing! No need for a passive aggressive dig at brides with diamonds. My ring was designed by my FH. It is beautiful, unique and absolutely meaningful. I gave him zero ideas of what I wanted. In fact, I didn't even know a proposal was coming. He nailed it, because he loves me. And that is the meaning behind any one of these rings. They all mean something.
