Ladies and gents, let's take a brief break from wedding stress to chat about wedding reality TV! My FH and I are currently watching a lot of TV to pass time. I'm trying out all the shows to get ideas, to laugh, and to tear up (the speeches, man!). We can't watch Bridezillas because it stresses FH out too much. Say Yes to The Dress is ok, but I really love Diva Brides (British) and Chespest Weddings (Australian) both found on Netflix. These brides have the craziest and creative ideas and instead of watching in horror I actually found myself rooting for these couples. They are so much fun and a bit more accessible than US based shows. FH and I like converting the dollar amounts to USD and learning about various cultural differences too. Which shows do you like and why?

I love Say Yes To The Dress!
Four Weddings UK was my all time favorite but unfortunately, that’s gone off TV for a long time. I still watch the reruns though!
I need to check out Cheapest Weddings! I think I’ll really like that!

I love Say Yes to the Dress (Lori’s Bridal is very close to my house!), 4 Weddings and 90 Day Fiancé. Bridezillas is my ultimate guilty pleasure though. Sometimes I will turn it on when my fiancé is around so he realizes how normal I am. 😉

I love bridal boudoir on YouTube . They take a deserving bridal give her a wedding dress do her hair and make up then do some boudoir pictures.

I really loved the TLC show, “I want that wedding”. It was kind of like house hunters but for weddings. The couple sees three weddings and predicts the wedding budget for each and then talks about what they want their own wedding budget to be.

YES!!!! My daughter and I loved that show!! I wish it would come back! I also love Say Yes to the Dress (original and Atlanta), and Bridezillas is a guilty pleasure. Sometimes I watch that just to reassure myself I'm not a bridezilla! lol

Me too! Although a lot of the brides on that show get stuff gifted or for free by family and/or friends.

I'm going to have to check out the Netflix ones.
There was like ONE episode of "Drag Me Down the Aisle" on TLC - drag queens giving a bride a makeover - and I wanted more of it, but it disappeared.
Love "Say Yes to the Dress" - I applied, but I also went to the pop-up shop, so it's too late, now. (...I have met someone who was on the show. Didn't know it until I saw her rerun.)
The new version of "Four Weddings" looks so much better than the old ones - less snark, more support, more interest in the unique qualities of each couple.
