If you have or are using lanterns for your table center pieces, can you post pictures of what you've done? I need ideas!

Thanks! I'm trying to stay SUPER simple- think if I filled them with faux green apples and limes and tied a raffia ribbon on top it would work??

We printed out black and white pictures of us growing up on Valium and taped them to the glass of the lantern. When we put a battery candle inside, it lights up the pictures. We then put it on a slice of wood with some pinecones. We used small lanterns from ikea

I don't have a picture yet because they are still a work in progress but I'm using green morrocan lanterns on Slices of tree with fake vines, pine cones and fairy berries scattered all around them.

Ours will be on a round mirror, with a candle inside and a silver wired riddon on the top. Scattered around with be those clear diamond crystal confetti. I will probably add some star shaped rose petals as well. Simple but elegant. I also bought some 4 inch wired white mesh ribbon that has silver running through it. Next time I go up to the venue I might try to figure out how to incorporate it in to these centerpieces. Curls of it on the mirror?

Between a few people I figured it out! I'm going to do faux limes & green apples inside of them, big raffia bows on top. Then also tie raffia ribbons on my floral centerpiece vases. Then use my table runners that I hate by sort of rumpling them up and putting them underneath the vases and lanterns!

I'm doing wine bottles with the bottoms cut off at different heights on gold mercury glass platters. I bought the platters all at salvation army ($2-4 apiece) and it took 2 cans of the looking glass spray paint to do 20 platters (did the cupcake stands too). The wine bottles are basically free, either left over from my personal use or from the hotel where my FI works. We are also using the flameless candles from the hotel so that helps. I'm doing 2-3 bottles per platter. I haven't done a mock up yet, so I don't have a picture. But the wine bottles as lanterns is on pinterest.

I'm doing lanterns, here are mine. I'm using flame less candles due to venue rules and I set the candles on vanilla flavored coffee beans inside the lanterns.

Minus the tea candles these are ours! I have to put the glass into the lanterns but I'm waiting until the day before to so I'm not cleaning all that glass.

I don't have a pic because my florist has not done my mock up yet but it will be something along the lines of:

1 large lantern (no glass panes) with 1 large candle on the inside. Mood moss, vines and decorative mushrooms will appear to be "growing" out of lantern. a few flower blossoms thrown in there for a splash of color.
