Lace dress brides! Can i see you veil?!?!

Will the rhinestone veil look ok with the lace dress?

I have a lace fit-and-flare. I thought I wanted the edges of my veil to match the lace on my dress. Once I tried on that type of veil with the dress, I found the lace in the veil kind of got lost. So, I’m going with a simple single layer of tulle.

I felt the same way at first about having a lace edge veil but am so glad I listened to the consultant and took her advice on a more plain veil. To me, it was the perfect combination

I think dress has a lot of lace and detail on the back. This is the veil that the lady that helped me recommended. It was simply with only detail around the edge. I haven't actually bought one yet though since I'm conflicted as well.

This is an old photo from when I bought my dress, but I don’t yet have a good one from our wedding day that shows the veil with the dress. The top of my dress has lace. I got the fingertip lace-edged veil in the photo which matched the eyelash lace on my dress.

I haven't bought the veil yet, but I have picked it out and am keeping my eye on it, waiting for it to go on sale. Here is the dress and the photos of the veil are from David's Bridal's website. It's a cathedral length and the detail in more at the tail end. I was concerned about having too much lace on the veil and it clashing with the dress as well.

The lace on my veil is a lot thinner than most of what I was seeing-it was just enough to tie in but not enough to over power the dress. I also loved that the veil itself was more sheer than most I tried on so it gave the veil effect without covering anything up! I can't wait to pick it up!

My consultant told me to go with a simple beaded trim veil and I couldn't STAND it. I thought it was so hideous. I went with a lace veil that complimented the detailing of my dress and I love how it looks!

I bought extra lace when I bought my dress and we added it to a cathedral veil. I love it!

Here is my veil and dress, the lace ends right where the first lace detailing ends so it works really well!
