So I've waited far too long on getting my wisdom teeth removed and now all four of them have poked through. One in particular is growing sideways and the other one is growing into my cheek. To say the pain is excruciating is an understatement. I go in Thursday for a consultation to figure out what we can do and when but when I asked her about a schedule of how soon I could get in to get these son's of bitches removed she said i'd be looking end of August to early September. My wedding is the end of September and i'm just curious for those who have had their teeth removed/pulled how long were you swollen for? I just don't want to get my teeth removed beginning of September and then have a swollen ass mouth for my wedding pictures. Priorities, amirite?

I don't have anything significant to add, just wanted to throw in another vote for general anesthesia. They just gave me gas for mine and I feel like it almost heightened my awareness of what was happening (I'm probably just weird, I had no actual pain though) .I'm still a little traumatized by it (got mine out when I was 27, so 4ish years ago). As long as you don't have any complications, you should be fine by wedding time.
